“People I meet seem to think Iām a bit of a comedian, well the thing is I can be quite funny when Iām fed a subject or two. I have loads of jokes and many friends that are always asking me to tell them a joke. This is why I decided to write a book of jokes that bring back my memories of meeting and working with dozens of comedians during my time working in Benidorm, Spain.
Sadly, many of them have passed away now so this book is a tribute to my good comedian friends.
Lots of the same jokes are told by different comedians in the way that different singers sing the same song.
Itās just the way the comic delivers the gagā¦ and of course, thatās the art of comedy.
I spent hundreds of hours sitting in dressing rooms back stage waiting for the comic to finish before I went on, and thats how I remember so many good and so many crap jokes. As the great Frank Carson used to say..
